Ingredients
- 1 medium cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Preparation Steps
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the batter: In a large bowl, combine flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk together until smooth.
- Coat the cauliflower: Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, coating it evenly. Place the coated florets on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake: Drizzle the florets with olive oil and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and crispy.
- Toss in buffalo sauce: Remove from the oven and toss the baked cauliflower bites in buffalo sauce until fully coated.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing if desired.
