Banana Bread Cake

Ingredients
3 ripe bananas, mashed
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper. Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth. Add the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and stir until combined. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing. Fold in chopped nuts or chocolate chips if desired. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
