Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Press dough into a 9-inch (23 cm) round or square baking pan, smoothing the surface.
- Prick dough evenly with a fork.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until lightly golden.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then cut into wedges or squares while warm.
- Let cool completely before removing from the pan.
