Garlic Herb Sourdough Bread Stuffed with Brie and Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients
1 large round sourdough bread loaf
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp salt
1 wheel of brie cheese, sliced
1/2 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut the sourdough loaf in a crosshatch pattern, making sure not to slice all the way through.
Mix melted butter, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, and salt in a small bowl. Drizzle the butter mixture into the cuts of the bread, making sure it soaks in.
Stuff slices of brie into the bread cuts, followed by dollops of cranberry sauce.
Wrap the bread in foil and bake for 15 minutes. Unwrap and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the top is golden.
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm as a festive appetizer or side dish.
