A savory and flavorful dish, Asian Spiced Beef Noodles combines tender beef, hearty noodles, and a medley of aromatic spices. Infused with soy, ginger, and garlic, this stir-fry is a quick and satisfying meal perfect for busy weeknights or a special treat.

Ingredients:

For the Beef:

  • 1 lb (450g) beef (flank steak, sirloin, or ground beef), thinly sliced or crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

For the Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes or Sriracha (optional)

For the Noodles:

  • 8 oz (225g) egg noodles, ramen, or rice noodles, cooked and drained
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced onions
  • 1 cup shredded carrots or bell peppers
  • 1 cup broccoli florets or snap peas
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Marinate the Beef:

  • In a bowl, combine beef slices with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Mix well and let marinate for 15 minutes.

2. Prepare the Sauce:

  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and chili flakes or Sriracha (if using). Set aside.

3. Stir-Fry the Beef:

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
