Olive Oil Bread Dip Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 cup high-quality extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp balsamic vinegar (optional for tanginess)
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
- In a small dish, pour the olive oil. Add a splash of balsamic vinegar if desired.
- Stir in the minced garlic, basil, oregano, thyme, and red pepper flakes.
- Season with salt and pepper, adjusting to taste.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Let the dip sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld, then serve with fresh bread.
